Constant Sum Question Type
A constant sum question allows you to divide specific number of points or percent as part of a total sum. Respondents can allocate the points or percent to each option as per their preffered weight/liking.
A constant sum question permits collection of "ratio" data, meaning that the data is able to express the relative value or importance of the options (option A is twice as important as option B).How to add a constant sum question to a survey?
Go to: Login » Surveys (Select Survey) » Edit » Workspace and click on the Add Question button.
Constant Sum question will be added to your survey. Under Settings you can control the Sum value as well as other settings.
When answering the survey, respondents can allocate points either by entering in the text input boxes or using the slider.
